What's in my Bag/Purse?

Hello.
I love watching 'What's in my Bag/Purse?' videos on youtube and reading the blog post so I thought I would give it a shot.

The bag I'm using just now is the black FCUK bag pictured above. I got this bag for Christmas from my boyfriends parents but I believe it is from Boots (it came with some toiletries inside). It's pretty big, which is good for me as I like to put a load of crap in my bag. Unfortunately, one of the straps is close to breaking so I may have to say my goodbyes soon but I will be using it until then as it is a great bag! Moving on to the inside...
I currently have three purses in my bag. I know your average normal person would only carry one but I hardly class as normal!
The black purse, which I have had for forever and have no clue where it's from, contains some money left over from my trip to Dubai in February. For some reason, I haven't got around to changing it yet so it is staying in my bag for now.
The brown purse is my general, every day purse. I got this as a Christmas gift from my boyfriends sister and it's from New Look. In this purse I just keep money, gift cards and bank cards and other things like that.
The coin purse was also a Christmas gift from my best friend so i'm not sure where it is from. In this purse I just keep random things.
In this purse, I keep some random hair clips and hair bobbles, just in case I need them. I also keep a lip balm, currently the Norwegian Formula Lip Balm, and a lipstick, currently MAC Speak Louder.
Now to the remainder of my bag. I keep a diary from Thomas Sabo, which came as a free gift with my Christmas present from my boyfriend, and a pen. I also have headphones, a hair brush, a mirror, a USB stick, another lip balm and more hair clips. I also have some random papers and plasters which I bought in Dubai when my shoes were realy hurting my feet. I have my ticket from my trip up the Burj Kalifa in Dubai in February. I also have a watch, from H Samuel, and a ring, from Forever 21.
What bag/purse would be complete without a supply of food?! I like to keep a supply of sweets in my bag just in case I happen to get a little hungry. Currently, I have a packet of Rowntree's Randoms, a packet of Chocolate Buttons, a Mars Bar, two packets of Smints, Mint and Raspberry & Lemon, and an Emirates chocolate from the flight home from Dubai.
That's all that I keep in my bag/purse at the moment. I hope you enjoyed having a look into my bag.

Review: Sephora Shrimp Cocktail

Hello.

While in Dubai in February, I picked up a Sephora nail polish to try out. I have a pretty big nail polish collection so I tried to find an unusual colour that I wouldn't already have. Shrimp Cocktail, a unique looking pink with silver glitter, caught my eye.

In the bottle, it looks like a very interesting combination of a pink polish with silver glitter running through it. I didn't really know what to expect but I was intrigued to see how it would look on my nails.

I was a little disappointed to find that the polish appeared as nothing more than a normal glittery pink polish. The silver glitter, which seemed very prominient in the bottle, is almost non exitent on the nail.

One thing I was impressed with was the application. The nail polish brush was extremely thick, which I am not a big fan of, making it a little more messy than I would have liked. However, the thickness of the brush made it much quicker to apply. The consistency of the polish was rather thick, meaning that the polish needed no more than one coat.

Out of curiosity, I wanted to see what the polish would look like with a matte top coat. I definitely preferred the look of the polish with the matte top coat and I actually liked it quite a lot.
Unfortunately, the nail polish really disappointed me when, after only one day, it began to chip! I left it on as it wasn't too bad to start with and wasn't very noticeable. However, after about two days the nail polish was almost gone and I had to remove it. I don't know whether this was the polish or the top coat, as I have only used the top coat twice before, so I may try this polish again with a different top coat and hopefully it may last slightly longer.
Overall, I like the quick and easy application of the nail polish but the colour, brush size and durability of the polish was quite disappointing. I'm not sure whether or not I would consider repurchasing a Sephora nail polish but I may do so in the future for comparison.

Introductions...

I suppose the best way to kick things off is by introducing myself.
My name is Sophie, I'm 17 years old and live in Scotland, UK. I've been reading blogs and watching youtube videos for quite a few years now so I thought I might try it out for myself. I have a passion for all things beauty and fashion, which will feature on this blog often, as well as books, movies and music.

As I mentioned already, I am 17 years old which means I am in my last year of school! I figured this blog would be a great opportunity to record my last few weeks of school and my preparations for going off to university in September.

Long story short, there isn't really much structure to this blog. I expect it will be full of surprises as I write about whatever crosses my mind - life stories, my opinions on certain things, life stories.

I hope anyone who comes across this blog will enjoy my ramblings. If not, I'm sure I'll enjoy sharing my thoughts anyway!

Sophie.

P.S. I am aware that the 'Accidently' is not a correct spelling, I couldn't face another 'Sorry, this name is unavailable'.
